Do you think it would look odd to use an antique vanity table as my TV stand in my room?

Question: I have a built-in vanity in my bathroom, so the vanity table isn't purposeful but I don't want to get rid of it because it's really pretty and well-made. I hate the way normal entertainment centers / TV stands look, so I was thinking of removing the mirror and putting the TV

Answer: That sounds charming! You are very creative.

You might want to think about putting something underneath the TV to protect the wood from heat and dust that builds up quickly around a TV from static electricity. A cut piece of glass to cover the top of the vanity

I think it would look cool.

I'm with you...I don't like the traditional TV stands, so anything a little out of the ordinary is cool to me.
