Will new Sony bookshelf speakers work with my 6 year old Stereo system?
Question: I just ordered Sony SB-1000 bookshelf speakers for my LCD TV. Before I go out and buy a receiver to hook them up to, I was wondering if they would work with my old stereo system... it is about a 8 year old Aiwa 3 disc changer system - 120 watts. Could I just unplug the old
Answer: Don't see why not. A quick look at the specs suggests they will work fine. They are meant to be loud, but should do ok for a small room at moderate levels.
